Another day in the life...

The last Wednesday before Katie comes home. It sounds like her travels this week have been great! A new city tomorrow. Wonder if being in Ohio will be boring after this? So plain vanilla after Europe. But knowing Katie, she will find the good in being home and being at Kent and just enjoy wherever she is. She's good that way....

Tuesday was but yesterday, but seems a distant memory. I went to Giant Eagle and the library and picked up Abby at driving. Then I did laundry and had a QT and worked on school stuff maybe a little, but not much. It felt like I didn't accomplish anything really. Dinner was just turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes, gravy, and peas. We walked after dinner.

Today Hannah and I got to babysit for the twins, but they slept most of the time, so she worked on the CLEP stuff for her test tomorrow (pray for her to pass, dear reader--she's been working hard and did well on the practice test with the program we bought, but had a harder time with the College Board book test that she was working on today), and I worked on school stuff. I'm getting the decisions made, but not much actually prepared for because I still have to buy the stuff. This afternoon, Chris and Rosie came over and tonight Jeff and I are going to chat with Mike and Cindy about youth group plans. We're having a parent's meeting on Sunday and would like to know what we're talking about.

Tomorrow Abby is babysitting for a new family and no more driving school because she passed her test today! The written part. Now has to wait 6 weeks for the driving part. Paige just called and asked if she could come over tomorrow afternoon and talk to us. Hmmm...you can pray for that dear reader too!

Off to Panera now! More later!
